What is a size-run pack (assorted sizes)

A size-run pack means one piece of each size in a style's size range, sold together. For example, the pack of a 3–6 year set contains one piece each in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6. In the Turkish market the same thing is called “seri” or “asorti”.

The size-run pack lets the manufacturer spread production evenly across sizes; your store receives every size, and customers are not turned away with “that size is sold out”.

How many pieces are in a pack

The number of pieces in a pack equals the number of sizes of the style. At Ecoo Kids most packs have two or three pieces; a few styles go up to four or five sizes. Each style page shows the number in the “Size-run pack” line.

• Baby styles (9–24 months): the pack usually consists of month sizes.
• Toddler (1–5 years): two or three age sizes.
• School age (5–13 years): the size range widens, so the pack can be larger.

Age and size mix for a store

The lowest-risk approach for a first order is to take a few styles from each age group and see which group sells fastest. If your customers mostly buy baby and toddler clothing, put the weight there; school-age demand peaks with the season (back to school, holidays).

Buying several packs of the same style delays running out of sizes on a best-seller. To try a new style, a single pack is enough.
